It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Patricia Vail of Spirit River, Alberta, on the 29th day of August 2024, at the age of 88 years old.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Cathy (Bob Olson), Bob, and Karen (Wayne Jackson); as well as her grandchildren, Shawn and Ryan, Kristy and James, Allon, Jordan, Jessica and Joshua; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her partner, Brian Fjeseth; beloved husband, Lionel Vail; son, James Vail; mother, Gladys Tutton; father, Frank Moravec; sister, Kaye Arndt; brother, Cecil Moravec; and sister, Betty Armitage.
Patricia’s passions were woven into every aspect of her life. She was an avid sewer and knitter, creating crafty and cozy treasures for her family and friends.
At Patricia’s request, no service will be held; however, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Memorial Donations may be made in Patricia’s name to the Kaye Edmonton Clinic – Hematology Group, (11400 University Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta, T6G 1Z1), or to a charity of your choice in her name.
The family also wishes to send a special thank-you to Dr. Joeseph Brandwein, and the staff at the Kaye Clinic, and the U of A Hematology pod, for the care and treatment given to Patricia.
